If you get a write error - there is something wrong with your hard disk when the program rips/tries to write the files to your hard disk.
Not hardly... @ Reasons? Yeah those Verbatims are one of the main reasons you are getting quality backups for sure I usually burn my movies at x4, but have done some at x8 and x16 with no problems, but the difference in time really isn't all that much different really so I believe you will always get a better burn going slower and x4 seems to be pretty safe. Cheers
Looks like it is doing pretty good the only thing I don't like is you have to do the whole disk, but I could live with that if it works I will let you know more in a few I am putting it to the test!!!
Before this 2.9.2.2 was released we did a lot of testing just to get it to work with DVD Shrink/Nero Recode on ARccOS disc. All the latest titles worked without problems. If there should be a problem - it will be fixed.
It did a movie Decrypter wouldnt do.. "Blast" Now I gotta go make a guide using this proggy I guess they fixed the the problems it was having in this latest release. I just did some pretty tuff DVD's and a couple new releases with this program and it went threw them like butter I just tested the following without any problems Hitch RE2 Blast Constantine Ice Princess I owe you an apology cynthia and I am not to big to admit that I was wrong just this once LOL I would rate it a 8 out of 10, but thats only because I have to rip the whole DVD. Other than that it is simple for the novice and it really works. Now if they can just keep it updated we will have a very good ripper ;-)
True, it's very easy to use. You did RE2 - that must have been the region code 1 version? In region code 2 (swedish version) it crashes in DVD Shrink due to the bug with unreferenced VOBs. If you want to make a guide - feel free to copy this one: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=51904 If you have any problems with this program and want to get in touch with the author: http://forum.digital-digest.com/forumdisplay.php?f=82
I was backing up the first Tomb Raider drive to drive with DVDFab when it failed, that might be the problem. Drive to drive anyway.
Think you are mixing up DVDFab with DVDFab Decrypter. The first program is a 'shrinking' program - the later only decrypts/rips your files to the hard disk.
dang now you tell me I just spent the las hour making a guide... Oh well its done and at my sight if you wanna check it out.. Mine actually combines the use of Shrink for encoding and Decrypter for burning but it looks pretty close to the one you made.
A very nice guide. This 'trash' is removed with automatic with DVDFab Decrypter - so no minutes of blackness before the main movie starts.
Curious on the Blast DVD. Is this the movie that was released 2001? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...359161-3609655?v=glance&s=dvd#product-details
No it is this one http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361399/ It should be released in Video stores tuesday along with Constantine, Ice Princess, Crow 4 Daughter works at a video store so don't ask LOL
