Afterdawn's guides are wonderful. Occasionally, though, one could use some improvement. Check out the discussion of 'Digital Logic' and especially 'Analog Waves' here: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/arc...entals-resolution_and_aspect_ratio_page_2.cfm Should one really draw from the theory of sound to describe a 100Hz 'video wave', and even apply the Nyquist-Shannon Sampling Theorem to a horizontal trace on a monitor? While the property 'digital' does indeed apply to things non-electronic, the measure Hz also applies to things that are not waves. Perhaps an engineer would like to fix this (likely very popular) page. (I could, of course, be missing the point - no pun intended.) Thanks!
