Is this too big, to put on a dvd??

    I converted the wmv files into the audio_ts and video_ts folders now the size that it tells me is as follows:

    So is this too big to put on a DVD?? the reason i ask this is becauise i remember reading that even though it says 4.7 its not really that big!! So how big is it actually? and will this fit??

    @jhon12, I cannot see any reason why this shouldn't fit on a standard DVD5, if you have any doubts then you can try using DVD Shrink.

    4.29GB is perfectly fine with a single layer (4.7GB DVD-R/DVD+R disc). You shouldn't be having any issues backing up this VIDEO_TS file at all.

    I think what he was asking was about teh ACTUAL size of a DVD5. I'm not sure but I think it's like 4.4 gigs or somehthing? Anyone got a correction on that?

    thanks a lot guys! and yes i was also asking about the actual size whihc i now know ,roughly 4.4!Thanks for ur help

    Roughly 4.4 is close enough. Most will translate that to 4478 anyway. Doing the math it actualy comes in at 4.38
