I know this differs from burner to burner, but the only media that gives me less than 100 PIF errors total with Nero Cd-Dvd Quality scan is Verbatim 8X +R's. I've only tried TY 8X +R's, TY 4X -R's, and Verbatim 16x and 8x +R's. Is there anything else I should try or is that pretty much the top of the food chain in dvd media?

That MCC=003 is by far the best media for my 2 benq 1620s/1640/and cyberhome tv burner. It's getting harder to find. The +16x is also looking very good, but I have to burn them at 8x to get them to perform best.

I use a BenQ 1655. I used to burn @16x all the time but 8x gives much better results and the time isn't that big a difference.

yes keep it at 8x max. 16x is just to fast for burning dvd movies

and Taiyo Yuden and or Verbatim is the best/only media to use for most
