is WinXPSP1 needed after a WinXPSP2 install?

    already installed sp2 before sp1. so do i need to install sp1 first before sp2 or do i need to install sp1 after sp2 or not at all cause SP2 is a upgraded sp1

    The full version of SP2 (network installation - 266MB) contains the SP1 updates as well. If you had SP1 installed and chose to install SP2 via Windows update, you'd see the slimmed down version of the upgrade on the list.

    First of all, there is no way you can install SP1 on a machine that already has SP2.
    And, Morph416 says is correct about SP2 including all the updates of SP1
