iso compression

    hey,

    does anyone know if it is possible to compress an ISO file to be but onto a dvd+r 4.7gb?!?

    You could use a file compression program (WinRAR). But it will not be playble in a DVD player if it is an image of a movie.

    If this is a movie then you will either have to extarct the ISO and run it through a transcoder or you could download DVDShrink from the link below and open up the ISO image in DVDShrink to transcode the movie to fit on a DVD5 disc.

    Roxio Easy Media Creator 6.0 had a feature to compress an .ISO video file onto one disk but I haven't used it in a couple of years, not sure if that feature is still available.
