Hi,i need a little help i got some dvds in iso format and can not make a dvd from it to look at on my dvdplayer.i got winxp and 250 gb of hard drive to use.i open the dvd to copying to my harddrive.but i get a error copying file or folder-(there is not enough free disk space)the file is 4,412,576 kb.can someone help me out.
No, i can not get the file on my hard drive, without getting the error message that there is not enought free disk space on my hard drive.
Iam not use any program,i go to c (harddrive) and pick (copy this file pick (primary c) and pick (copy) and i get the error messages(there is not enough free disk space.
i really dont understand what you are saying you picked c twice? where does the dvd drive come in?, so you have an iso image on a dvd burned as a data dvd and you cannot copy this to your hardrive because it says not enough disk space. Well try decrypting the dvd then.
Hi, Socomii In winxp i pick my computer, then the drive with the iso dvd in it,i hightlight the file, then i pick copy this file, then i pick the c drive to copying the file to.That when i get the messages.
well thats strange dont know what could be causing that specific error message, did you try decrypting the dvd and then trying to get a hold of the file.
Hi,Socomii i can copying the file with decrypting, but only in iso format. A guy on another site talk about converting my harddrive to ntfs My harddrive right how is fat32.Do you think that will help me?
Try opening the Iso files in Dvd Shrink. Choose FILES, then OPEN DISC IMAGE. Then you can transfer them as smaller files to your hard drive.
Like dialysis said open the iso file in dvd shrink and click on back up but this time specify your gonna save it as a iso image or as a video folder then back up to where you want it to go.As for getting the image to dvd you can use nero which works side by side with dvd shrink ..but instead of selecting to save as a iso image or video folder select the drive your gonna burn the image to (nero kicks in )or if you have roxio dvd creater 7 or 8 just double click on the iso file and pop in ur dvd blank and youll be good.
Your problem is that FAT32 has a file size limit of 4gb. You could reformat to NTFS (depending on what OS your running) but you would lose all the data. So yes formating to NTFS would help you.
