    Hi everyone,

I have a friend who uploaded one full dvd in ISO format. However, when I try burn the iso file with nero (burn image), it would not play on my dvd player. Well I take it back, only the audio play but there's no video. I was wondering if you guys know any program or steps that could get the file to play (both audio and video) on the dvd player. I also try dvd decrypter, but I pretty much end up with the same result. Thanks in advance for the help.

Try opening the file in Dvd Shrink. If there are no problems, burn the file with ImgBurn.

What I mean is that when I play it on the computer it is fine but for some reason when played on a standalone dvd player, there's audio but no video. I try to change the bitsetting to dvd-rom but it doesn't seem to show up either. Thanks in advance if you guys could provide any more suggestion.

Try another player. Some players do not play writable media. It is rare these days, but there are some finicky ones still out there.

It's not the player because I have one of those cheap dvd player that pretty much everything you throw at it. I am thinking there may be either something wrong with the setup or the original ISO file of the person who rip it. Thanks though.

Then you'll have to re-rip the movie.

I have no way to test the original movie right now cuz it's my friend's movie and he's out of town already. Is there any other option of checking the ISO file? Thanks.
