Hi Guys, I'm obviously new to this site but its a great site! Has so much useful information! Anyways, I'm just wondering if you's could help me out with a problem. I've read through as many posts as I can about it but still can't seem to solve the problem. When using UMD Emulator 0.8c I can change the settings, but as soon as I highlight the iso file and press the cross button it freezes completely and I have to restart the system? I have correctly downgraded by 2.00 firmware to 1.50 firmware- no probs. I have also correctly installed UMD Emulator 0.8c onto my memory card aswell and double checked everything is in the correct folder. I have also tried both 'direct load', 'copy load' and 'system menu'- none work. And I DO have a UMD in the PSP while I am doing all this but it still doesn't work. When i downgraded my PSP from 2.0 to 1.5, I used by standard 32mb memory card. I then put in my 1gb memory card and installed UMD Emulator. Should I have downgraded using my 1gb memory card and then the game would work? Has any1 got any suggestions? Really appreciate any response as I'm going away in 3days and want to get this fixed ASAP!
custom firmware it has a built in iso loader and is more up to-date so more games are compatible the newest is 5.00m33 you will need to update to 3.52m33-4 before you can go any higher get it all from here - http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/10
Awesome thanks alot! I was going to use this guide (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/616311) to update to 4.01 M33 but you just mentioned 5.00 M33? Would you suggest I use this guide and then find another guide to go from 4.01 M33 to 5.00 M33? Or should I go to 3.52 M33-4 then onto 5.00 M33? Can you suggest a guide to either go from 4.01 M33 to 5.00 M33 OR 3.52 M33-4 to 5.00 M33? Thanks in advance, it is greatly appreciated.
think you can just go direct from 3.52m33-4 to 5.00m33 but its up to you really you can just use pandoras battery if you find that its not as good as other fw
