I downloaded a noncopyrighted dvd , that is in Iso format , but when i try to burn it with dvd decrypter i get "Invalid or unsuppored image file format " when i try to load it into dvd decrypter . I was able to burn it with Nero , but the discs burnt with Nero are unplayable .

power dvd will not play it on my pc . but with bsplayer i can watch each vob , but it plays it rather poorly .. anyone know a way i can fix the Iso so i can burn it ?

An ISO doesn't necessarily mean that the files are in DVD format. Assuming they are though, then something has gone wrong with the structure. DVD Shrink is sometimes able to straighten out minor structural flaws. Try running the ISO through Shrink to see what happens. Click "File" at top left and select "Open Disc Image..." Shrink is free, so nothing lost. If that doesn't work, you'll need to look into the file format and possibly file conversion. There you have to know what format you're working with.

I tried what you said with dvd shrink . " dvd shrink encountered a error and cannot continue . Invalid udf file system ." Is the message it gave me .

I have allready tried Isobuster , but im not very familiar with that app . I dont know if i used it correctly . I extracted the list off recovered files recovered file 1-6.vob . I then changed the name's off the file so i could burn them with nero burning rom video files , but it gave me a warning that it would probably be unplayable , and it didnt play in my standalone dvd player .

You need VOB, BUP, and IFO files in a folder named Video_TS to have a playable DVD format. Download and use the program WinRAR to open the ISO as you would an archived file. That is what the tool is for, but it works with ISO files as well. Once opened you can see if you have those VOB, BUP, and IFO files in the Video_TS folder.

place all vobs ONLY!!! in a folder then use ifoedit to make new bup and ifo files

click button CREATE IFO bottom center then after load to dvd shrink to test it loads ok!
