isos on limewire

Seriously??? 350??? I get up to 200kbps on utorrent and thought that was good!!!!

 

Its kind of hit and miss as to what speed you get. Both utorrent and bitcomet run at about 100KBPS for me if the seeders permit. Stupid DSL, oh well I got it for the upload for my servers and it works for me.

 

bitcomet 0.61 is the best for me...utorrent i have 30kBps..
what bitcomet verson is the best?

 

I use newsgroups alot and get speeds up to 615 KBps. I don't trust limewire and usually use bittorent, newsgroups, ftp servers, and just plain http to get isos I own with newsgroups being the fastest.

P2P file sharing programs are slowly becoming obselete due to the sheer power of torrents.

I am seeing a lot of reccomendations of BitComent here, let me just tell you, thats definatly not what you want to be using!!!

First of all, its now being banned from all private trackers, if you are using BitComet, you will be banned, instantly, no if's and no buts, your account will be deleted.

I highly reccomend the use of uTorrent or Azereus, stay away from BitComent.

I use Frostwire for the odd track, thats about it, torrents are the way to go, take my word for it, take the time to learn and you will never go back :-D

I wouldn't say bitcomet sucks but it definately not the best. I use bitcomet sometimes when Im video editing or encoding because its not a memory hog. My downloads are about 20 KBps slower on bitcomet than azureus.

anyways can anyone teach me how to use ftp?coz i wanna dl iso's but some of them has 0seeds or only one

 

How sure are you??

If you come to any of the private trackers I use you'd be gone before you can say the word "torent", lol.

Only trying to give advice, its your choice to use whatever you want, if you use BitComent you can do so, but don't bother trying to get into any private trackers.

Its banned from most trackers, nearly everyone I use.

If you downoad a torrent from that tracker and use BitComent, they will ban you.

The paricular tracker you are using may allow it, its a possibilty, the point I am trying to make is that BitComent is a poor choice of client.

mustent of ported it right or the settings werent right, because utorrent is perfect for me i get 250kbs outta it, thts the fastest u can get on my connection neways

 

i think i got it right coz i follewd the guide thats in here..still bad and i dl that same file in bitcomet and tokk me only a few min

 

Thats your personal oppinion Bladework and a bad experience you've had with it, you are well entitled to your oppinion and are welcome to use what ever you want, I personally highly reccomend uTorrent.

I've used BitComet, Azereus and uTorrent in that order, not only has uTorrent gave me the best results, private trackers love it :-D

uTorrent is missing a few features that you can get out of other clients, but nether the less its rated no.1 at several big p2p sites, I have sworn by it for some time now

 

XD thats true my BIG problem wih torrents right now is NO SEEDS T_T....cant dl old games i.e kingdom of paradise, legend of heroes.etc

 

thts why private trackers are the best! you tend to get really good seeds who will actually upload the file compared to public trackers where ppl dl and dont upload!
