Hi Guys, I have a few queries, Hope you can help me out - Im new to this ! I currently have N*L digital (irl) Can I return to basic N*L package or must I retain the Digital signal to use the box to its full ? (is this a silly question ?) The EPG on The Box wont show more than a few hours ahead of time, When switched to the daily function it wont show listings for the next day (though it will show the previous days listings - not very helpful ;-) When using the EPG for more than about 4 mins the screen freezes and then "green screens" and reboots itself - any ideas here ? Also, sometimes during a movie the screen will freeze momentarily and then resume, is this normal ? Thanks guys, hope you can help !
First the EPG is not great on the Starvi*w , make sure you have the time settings correct and Summer Time is off You can just have normal basic package and your b0x will still work Press Menu > System Information and tell me what the API is please
Thanks for your response. The EPG has improved and will now forecast 2 days ahead. All the time settings are correct. The API is version 4.50e_E Thanks
Hi Celt I see you're in fighting form this evening (lol)-"unclemoe9" this happens to me too sometimes,it's a slight glitch in the firmware i.e the API 4.50e_E nothing major though,it doesn't affect the box in any other way.You can fix it to stop it from going green and going off by re-flashing the box i.e putting the firmware on it again but in my opinion it's not worth the hassle.
