Thanks to the wealth of info here, I was able to get the software and phone to work (if only for a little while). I came back from work today to fiddle with it some more, and for some reason the phone won't stay "connected" to the computer. It will register fine when the program first starts up, but the second I go into MMtools, it seems to drop it. Whenever I try to transfer stuff to or from the phone the program just freezes until the connection times out. The cable is plugged into the main USB ports on the back of the computer, not through a hub or extended connections. I tried upgrading, but I'm current in everything. It was working fine last night, and now, nothing. In case it helps, I bought the retail version of MPT from motorola with the cable, so I would hope that nothing is wrong there. I also tried using the updated drivers supplied by mossyy, but that didn't seem to help either. Any of you have any ideas?
