Okay I run two hard drives, and my primary one which I run the OS from one day decided to not boot up, and gives me a UNBOOTABLE mount error. I installed Windows onto my second hard drive, and from this everything is completely accessable from the hard drive that became unbootable. This leads me to believe that only some windows files were damaged because the hard drive seems to work fine. How would I go about fixing the windows OS without losing all of the data on the original hard drive?

    Thanks.

you could just run the installation on top of the old exsisting one already installed.
