That's not important, what IS important is that people know that a fix has been released for n2 in Ireland for the ITGate boxes.

So please keep this thread on track folks!

I personally have two ITGATE tGM220's, flashed both yesterday no problem and have all channels.

I can't say how long they will stay working for of course, but nobody knows how long any of the boxes will be working for.

I am not recommending anyone to buy these or any other box, just letting people know that these are currently up to date.

people thought eva was stirring i dont believe that, she received 2 non working itgates which are now working great,if she has krypts great, all it is is a working box.it would be nice to see more updates for more boxes but as time goes by not looking too good.someone mentioned to stay on ur forum i dont agree with that as a lot of posters are on ad,sk,dk tk and others who just want to help others is that not what a forum is supposed to do? i dont care if u have a starview 1 and a 14" portable or an 80" screen and a box that has all the bells and whistles.other people cant get a fix for their box and i feel sorry for them.

If you haven't sorted your channels yet I posted up my bouquets on SK, it is in downloads-itgate-service files.

I would not recommend any box to people in Ireland. I have a dbox, TGM220 and a 900HD, the fix for the 900HD is due out soon, it is testing right now. My father resubscribed to sports & movies, this is €40 per month. I was saying he could have got a KV, my mate got one for €105 incl delivery and is very happy with it, so if my father had got 3 months from it then it would have paid for those subs.

I am still very happy with the itgate and my decision to get one, my plasma only takes VGA or component in, so the KV was not an option. Also I wanted the PVR functionality, I have a tiny 8GB microsd in a card reader in mine to record programs.

The 900HD menu system is not great and has some bugs, but people are blown away with the HDMI quality, it is incomparable to any other box I have seen. Component on the itgate was an improvement over scart but the HDMI is a whole other league.

Prior to this i had only ever flashed Replay Lites and Starviews, so i was a bit nervous, i don't know much about the linux boxes and had heard they were more complicated.

I haven't sorted my channels, could you give me a step by step guide of exactly what to do to download your files ruprect, that would be very helpful, thank you.

I didn't buy the ITGate i was given it as a present, to be honest i don't think i personally would buy any box at the moment in Ireland.

First thing you need is a LAN crossover cable, without that I don't think you can do anything. I saw you mention using a null modem cable which will not work to transfer the channels.

I give instructions on the download page on SK, you have to download a itgate program, then just start it up, and select my file and restore.

If you have never FTP'd before you have to know to set IP settings on the PC etc, it could be faster just to sort the channels yourself. The itgate uses enigma software, I find it very easy to sort channels on it.

Ok, well i don't have a LAN crossover cable, so i'll just sort the channels out manually.

    Thanks for helping anyway. :)

It's hard to tell, the fact that more fixes are coming out is promising. :)

Plug it into your router and you dont need a crossover.
Alot of new computers have network cards which will detect if your using a crossover cable or not and will work with either

Thanks cathal, but i think i will do it manually anyway, need to learn how to work the box ;)

It looks straightforward enough, will hopefully get a chance to sort it during the week, at the moment all my channels are listed alphabetically, that's the way they came in from the scan, and that's fine for now. :)
