Hi, Just wondering if any body has opened the img file for the itgate with the Ireland fix . I've tried but it wont open with tuxflash , if anybody has can they share it as a Rar file or if you have an itgate maybe you could try copying the filesytem with flashxp. As this is a linux box i just want to see if its possible to take out the hypercam files and the roms and place them into a dbox2 image , most linux boxes have very similar filesystems so i think this may be possible with some tweaks ..any help would be appreciated to get another box working
As the man at Satkings himself will tell you, the reason why the fix took so long for the itgate box to come out. Was so they could make it as secure as possible. This has been covered over and over. They locked the firmware big time so it can't be used on any other linux box. Sorry mate
I have played with SV 1&2, eurovox, 900HD, sagem, nokia, replay, dreambox, and hands down the itgate was the easiest, it comes with software preinstalled and ready to scan channels.
