I currently have about 1,400 CD's on my Itunes and want to back it up before something happens and I have to start from scratch. What is the best way to back it up? It seems like it will be too large for blank DVD's. Should I just copy the entire program on to an external drive? My current internal drive is 120 gigs, but I only have about 20 left. I think this may be contributing to CPU's slowness. None of my songs on Itunes are in MP#, so I can't even put them on DVD's without importing them again. I appreciate any assistance you can give me. Thank you.

I figured that would be the best way. What I don't know is how to go about it. Should I install Itunes on to the external, and then copy and paste 21,000 songs, or is there a better way to go about it? Thanks.

Thats what I would probably do or you could just copy and paste the actual music files to the hard drive.
