I dont know about you guys, but i think itunes is very hard to use. i cant figure out how to put just 20 songs on my ipod video without having to put every song on itunes on my ipod. can some good samaratin explain an easy way to put songs on my ipod? by the way, how do you turn off the auto update feature on itunes? To put songs on your iPod, import all your songs into the itunes library, then right click the iPod icon and click update.

While the iPod is plugged in, right click the iPod icon, and click 'ipod options'.

Then check the box next to 'manually manage songs & playlists'.

This means your ipod will only update when you manually update it, but note that you will have to 'eject' the iPod everytime you have finished updating.
