Ok I've been buying few TV Shows in itunes music store, i wanna be able to burn them to dvd so i can view them on my dvd player, so i can have a hard copy of them, is there any software that will support the M4V format from apple to dvd? Let me know thanks.
as far as i know, you need to do it with 2 steps. (1) remove DRM from iTunes (M4v, M4p, MP4) legally by converting iTunes to unprotected WMV formats firstly, (2) Burn resulting file to DVD. you can see this guide for help http://www.dvdtoitunes.com/burn-itunes-video-to-dvd.html
Yea i try it, and what this program do is kinda play the file while recording it to a new file without the drm on, in the process use alot of ram and resources making your computer unresponsive, is kinda what i did i just bought the wires hooked my ipod to my stand alone dvd recorder and play thru the dvd while it record it, is called the analog loophole, it work for me,i just thought that someone have found a way around it with some kind of program, that tunebite software not recomend it.
I just searched and checked it out that xilisoft dvd creator support .m4v to dvd. you'd check it out by yourself.
I tryed it xilisoft dvd creator and it don't support m4v files, that the itunes video files. so i called this one no good. dont waste your time downloading it.
Yea i've done that it give me a error, file failed to be added, means it wont support the drm, i wont recomend this software to anyone.
I guess you can report your error message to their support team support@xilisoft.com. I did this before, and they are helpful.
yea at this point since i dont get many videos from itunes once i watch an episode is unlikely i will watch it again, so i just plug my ipod to the tv with the av cables and watch it that way,. thanks for you help.
I use MelodyCan to convert m4v and haven`t any problem with quality or smth like this. Only what file to choose
