Hi Everyone, I am a new member to Afterdawn and this is my first post. I hope this is the right forum to ask this question. I got an iPod Nano for Christmas and installed iTunes on my Dell desktop that is only a year old. It has 512megs of Ram, an 80 gig hard drive and over a 2.3 Gigahertz pentium processor on it. Anyway, since installing iTunes it has been running soooo slow with everything I do. I don't know what to do. Surfing the net is slow and opening other applications has been slowed also. I contribute this to iTunes. Does anyone know what to do to fix the speed of my computer while still mainting the use of iTunes on there? Thanks
Are you sure the problem is iTunes ? The way to find out is to remove it and see if your machine speeds up again.
