iTunes store not connecting! I've tried everything, but to no avail.

    Ok, so my itunes store won't connect, and I get the message "Itunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The network connection was refused." Now, I've disabled all firewalls, changed settings, done basically everything I've heard that you could do.

    Anyone know a good way to fix my problem?

    This little info might help, too. I can connect to the internet and use it, but Steam won't connect either. I mean, I can play games and chat w/ friends through steam, but I can't access the main page. I think this might be a similar problem.

    you probably checked it... but I have to ask... did you check your login?

    Yes, I have checked my login. I don't mean I can't log in. I can't even see the store.

    What version is your iTunes?
    What does it tell you when you run iTunes diagnostics? (iTunes Help menu > Run Diagnostics > Network Connectivity)

    Turns out i was using 127.0.0.1 as a proxy server, somehow XD
