Itunes won't read Ipod

    I just bought a USB cord for my Ipod and now when u plug it in to the computer all it does it shows that it's charging. In the past when it was plugged in to the computer it worked fine and I could import songs with Itunes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    You have not supplied enough info.

    Why did you buy a new cord? If you are VERY lucky the new cord is bad. Did you buy the cord from Apple? I would TRY to back up the ipod ASAP. I suspect the worst. Be thankful the ipod still works.
