I have a 6.9GB 720p MKV File, contains h264 and a DTS audio file. I've split the files, 3.5GB each, MKV still. Now the problem is, I want to convert the MKV to a 720p Divx File (.avi) AND keep the DTS audio file un scratched so i can burn it to a DVD R disc and play it in my HD DVD player (divx certified + HD files) I don't mind going through a bunch of million hoops but ive tried ConvertXToDVD but the resolution output is too small. I've tried VobSub but ive noticed the Audio gets converted to PCM. Any help? (ive searched and found no relevant matters.
It won't hurt to give the free dr.divx 2.0 a try. I use it when I demand the best quality "home theatre" avi. It has the capability of doing the 720 HD encoding. I'm not sure if it can do the DTS audio but you can test it out. http://labs.divx.com/DrDivX
