jailbreak iTouch 1G 2.2.1 quick question

    ok, so I think I'm going to jailbreak my ipod touch, but i just need to ask this simple question. I recently upgraded my 1st Gen ipod touch to the software version 2.2.1 and have copied all my music back across (around 2,000 songs). And I now have several legal apps currently installed.

    my question is, by jailbreaking my ipod using 'QuickPwn', will I lose all the data that is currently on my ipod?
