Jailbreak - rip game using PC?

    Is it possible to rip a game using pc instead backup manager and then transfer it to ps3 using ftp or comgenie? If it is possible it would protect our ps3 disc reader since we could avoid some damage from ripping.

    Yes, it is possible, there are a couple apps for this already.

    unfortunately , there isn't any, as long as you use the PS3 break items,you need to use their back up manager. But you are right, if there is one app can do that, that should be great.
