    Hey everyone,

I need some help from the experts! My PSP can connect to my router, i can ping it from my PC, i can download updates, i can browse the web, all and all, i can get online with my PSP.

When i try and play gretzky nhl in infra mode i have some strange problems. When connecting i can obtain an IP address, then it says connecting, then it gives me the end user agreement. I accept that. Then it says "logging in", followed by a network error "logon failed - Please try again later". It has always done this, and i can't seem to figure out why. I have tried w/ WLAN powersave on and off, DMZ, opening ports SCEA recommended, WEP and no WEP, WPA, neighbours unsecured WLAN. I have tried anything i can think of. SCEA doesn't want to help me because its a japanese PSP. This is the only game i have, and i don't wanna get more if its not going to work because i would be returning the psp.

I got a great deal on this psp and would hate to have to return it and spend double to get a new one. Can anybody help me????

    Geoff

You need your router to do port forwarding on the same port as your psp is connected to, I had the same exact problem as you.

infrastructer mod you make sure you select lan inferstructer but here is a bigger warning servers for psp online games have been hell lately trying to get into and right now no one here in the us is hardly playing nhl hocky and the reason is because trying to get the game online is a pain in the a**

i should know it took me 2 hours to reset my network reset my wireless connection and even worse i had to redo my connection

guitmet, i have tried that as well as setting the psp as the DMZ ( which opens everything) . What exact ports did you open (for udp and tcp), i'll try it your way.

    Thanks

    Geoff

Even if nobody is on, i still wanna connect just to check it out and make sure my psp is working properly.
