Well as a first rate Padawan (Loong way from Jedi), my thoughts lead me to: If i purchased the X-ecuter 2.2 lite and installed it, will i be able to backup my xbox games using dvd-r blank discs, using a program that burns game to disc using a dvd and dvd burner, without linking the xbox to pc. If so what programs do u recommend for quick easy backups (not ready to face the darkside, so be gentle) If however the only way is by linking pc and xbox - could anybody as above give me the names of the best programs to use, and if your in a good mood maybe even links .) Not really interested in a harddrive at the moment, so backing up to the harddrive is a nono - just to dvd disc for playing on xbox system. Thx help and advice always welcome
A pc drive cant read an Xbox disc, you need to ftp into the xbox with the disc in the xbox drive and copy the files to your pc, and then burn with Nero or Primo. Also, in order to ftp into the Xbox, you need to install and configure Evox dash and bios. go to http://www.xbox-scene.com and click on the tutorilas link on the top, also check out the forums for help.
