Jerky playback.

    I'm getting very jerky playback on my Vista PC.

    This is odd because I was having exactly the same problem on my XP laptop.

    I will do some more investigating (format/codec etc) and give more info.

    The disc access light goes crazy when I'm getting the jerky playback.

    What should I try?

    Is there a program that will list all the attributes of avi/mpg/wmv files?
