is it possible to join a cable (digital/analogue) tv feeder coax to a sattelite coax feeder and then split them to the relevent set top boxes without knocking the rollicks out of everything. why?. the house is wired (coax) throughout originally for using the analogue signal. it would avoid having to run in a seperate system for satt. with analogue on the way out it would give other options, that and i was given a dish and box. i know each tv would need a satt or cable set top box (or both!!).if possible would i need any special connections/gear etc. any help appreciated.

    SAT/TV combiner diplexer.
Either 2 of them or one at the attic and a decombining wall plate.
It you have an mast amp you need a special combiner version.
It you want to supply more than one point the thing is more complicated.
