Jtag did not work for me

hi i got a eurovox 2006 blue i jtagged it with JKEYS and Skymax2 but none of them worked i still got 2 green dots on my screen and is stuck on standby mode what shall i do?

 

sc0user please advice on following:
problem : eurovox 2006 Blue stuck on standby
tried all the following as mentioned below:
1) tried Jkeys- erased the box sucessfully and it write the Tsop file.
--outcome : wurovox still stuck on standby mode

2) tried all above with skymax2, outcome still the same

3) replaced C14 cap outcome still the same
.
please advice if there is anything else i could try

 

Have you tried a replacement PSU?

 

yes i replaced it from other same model eurovox but still on standby and two dots

 

You have tried the whole works then. Question though.......was it a clone or genuine blue box and have you tried flashing it?

Why are you flashing a genuine blue box with the dnupman loader? The 21/04/08 UFL is the latest genuine firmware.

hi.i had a stand by problem with eurovox maxv 2008. but before i did a jtag i created a short over the jumper/link pins on the main board (beside the 2 ribbon cables and next to the diode d301 works like the cmos clear jumper on a pc motherboard (erased the memory)to do this you unplug the box and place a short across the two pins.then you leave the power on for 5 seconds then take the short off.then jtag hope this helps apollo440

did you use a parallel port connection? (25 pin)also did you conect the header with the right side of the jtag. pin 1 should be connected to the jtag with the red marking,you will find pin one on the top row to the right on a face on position and did you enable the parallel port too 378 if not try again hope this helps. bye the way if you bought your jtag from jtags4all you should join the forum look for eurovox and all to do with (something like that) 13 up from the bottom then look at dead eurovox max.hope this helps apollo440.

Have you tried the reset micro button on the main board?

Apologies on the way out. You seemed to have tried the lot, have you tried cloning from another blue box?

 

i connected the rs232 to the broken box to the other working blue box went on menu system info 1968 box to box then it says version 2.10 detected then i pressed ok then it gets stuck on reset

 

try flash with ufl maxv_kuro_10_04_08

 

just a thought, did you power down your box after the jtag?
