Jtaging - unable to access parallel port

hi, can anybody tell me why i,m not able to unable to access parallel port when opening Skymax2 programme .

All wires are soldered on correctly and the cloned box is turned on.

Also the parallel lead is inserted properly

Thanks Celtic. scOuser or Fergusb would you be able to tell me how to set the parrallel port on my Laptop to recognise the Jtag.

We've successfully brought a clone back to life via a desktop PC.

The Desktop PC recognised the Jtag straight away. The Laptop dosnt.

Any idea as to why.

May be because your laptop does not have a para port, I would advise you to use your desktop.
