hi iam having lods of probs iam getting data being updated but thats all its doing again and again that happend on the channels that have the doller sign outhers are ok not many leaft olso i put it on to telewest and find the channels wich is fine still have the doller sign of course so wene going back to channel scan it has ntl up the top it must just jump back at will i have just done my 100th channel scan still loads off doller signs dont no wat to do
First find codes for your area, go to menu, press 1570, on secret screen first check EMU is switched to on, scroll to nagravision, choose supplier, press ok to store,check 00 shows then scoll down to 00 to type in the codes for your area 0ne by 0ne and press ok after each one to store in memory, using the on screen commands for each letter or number. (as you enter each change it automatically goes to the next one, so to be able to store the one you have just put in, you will have to keep going back to each last code you put in to store it).Then back up to 00 and change it to 01 then down again to repeat by changing all your codes for 01 and store each one again, a faily long process each time but worth the effort. then exit back to normal tv and hopefully you should be up and running, I found I had to try a few different area codes before I had the right ones so dont give up if it doesn't happen first time. And be ready to change again in the future as they change codes often.
common problem, just press the default key and then input the codes, this will stop it jumping between providers.
thanks for your help i have got it now i have a starview 3 is it worth me getting a null cables i use a laptop i notice people are talking about 9 pin but my laptop is 15 pin male the box is 9 pin female thanks again for your help tony
