    can a game update reflash my drive as i have read that it could happen with fifa 12 is this right

    only if your dash is older than 13146. it is a one time only thing. its not a game update though, its the system update that does it.

    it all depends on the last time you got a system update. 13146 came out in May of 2011. you can check your version from the dashboard system menu.
