sorry if i've missed this, I've read loads of stuff, but i'm looking for some advice. I'm a total noob when it comes to this, so please be patient! thanks!

Just bought a house and moving in in a month or so. theres two cables running into the sittingroom. one is from a satellite dish mounted out back, and one is for what i think is an mmds aerial mounted on the roof. there is no boxes inside.

What should i buy for to use these? I've no experience of satellite. what channels could i get (obviously the more the better!!)? how do i know what to buy?! I'm totally lost. from what i can see, i need an existing chorus cable connection for the box?

I'm in limerick, Ireland btw. thanks!! great website, lots of good info on here!
