K basicly, this netbook has no dvd drive [wat kind of crap is this?] 330 dollars, i could have got a good used laptop for that price...anyway...

So this ''mini-pc'' comes with pre-installed windows-xp-home-service pack 3...If I had my way service pack 3 would be off this netbook so fast HP's head would spin, but, doesn't look like I can remove SP3, because I don't even see a way to uninstall SP3 from the add/remove programs menu.

But thats not the main problem, i can live with sp3 beause all i use this netbook for is music and movies anyway, so....what i want is to be able to uninstall media player 11 and replace it with media player 10. Unfourtunately this is impossible for some reason and I have tried almost everything to remove 11. Keeps saying ''folders are missing to remove this'' or something.

sigh, any hope? or will i have to just live with 11 on this netbook.

yikes, I'm not sure I would try that rocket science in the near future. Guess I'll just have to live with media player 11, and plus the thing is this netbook didn't come with a drivers disk [no duh] so that makes things even more difficult to reinstall...i don't know if i wanna mess with it, I think I will just take it back if something goes wrong within a year.

netbook and laptop manufacturers usually give good support on their websites as far as the driver problem goes. i would suggest not to remove windows components as you might end up with broken system. windows tends to do that.
