I'm just curious, what's the best firewall to use, not just with torrents, but for all around security as well? I don't have any problems, but I like to try out new programs every once in awhile. I'm been using Kerio, I works great, but I would like to try out a new one. So, any recommendations? I use Utorrent and AVG, so I need one that works with those because I heard some firewalls might conflict with Utorrent and anti-virus programs. And when you respond, please tell what client you use, if you've ever had problem with one or why a firewall works so well.
For a while, I had an old 233mhz pc with 2 nics running linux as my router/firewall. If you have the knowhow and the patience, its definately a cool build. If you want easy to understand and simple, ddp made a good recommendation. ~Rich
Well, I use Utorrent and I read in the official Utorrent forums that Zone Alarm does not work well with Utorrent. They that you should unistall it and use another firewall. They recommand Outpost, is it easy to learn how to use and does it work well?
