    hmm now i know we all normall pull it out when it says this, but this time ... wasn't so sucessful

    i restarted my computer and realized i left my ipod plugged in, so i unplugged it. but the thing is, my do not disconnect screen, is still on. and won't come off!

    has this happened to any one before? any tips or help?

    Well, I'll give an answer to save another person asking the same question. If you restart your PC, and disconnect your iPod in the process, or even if you just generally disconnect without auto or manual ejecting, then your iPod is only really susceptible to freezing, which can easily be resolved with a soft reset..
