Can anyone explain the 'Just Fit' mode on this machine? Does it only work if you're using timer record onto a disc or what? What I want to do is backup stuff from the HDD onto Discs, but i want to squeeze say two films for example onto a single disc. Why can't I select or even see the option to make the file 'Just Fit' onto the disc?
Hi StuMcD, I own 2 ILO HD04 and the "just fit" feature is the same as on the 5045. It only works on timer recordings onto disc. To access the feature you need to set your timer recording on disc and you will notice the last speed option is "just fit". The new european model (5045 GDL) does have the timer "just fit" on disc and hardrive, again only works on timer recordings. Cheers CC
