    Ok, so I am thinking of going for a satellite option down the country, seems cheap enough for the setup (Dish,cable and LNB). Can anyone tell me what decoders/receivers to look into? Also if there is any that might be able to do HD/PVR?

    try satdownloads they have an extensive forum on sat stuff, the guys there know the ins and out of the sat stuff
