Okay, I just softmodded my XBOX... maybe two or three times to get the hang of it. Im currently using UnleashX, the latest version. Well I havent quite yet figured out how to add emulators to the emulator list, or how to get any emulators I have to locate games. I have placed all of the according files onto the drive - in all folders in some cases, and have not had any success getting anything working! Another thing - trainers. I have tried to get trainers running when I had the EVOX dash installed, and could not get them to show up in the trainers menu... The only thing that shows up is something called "Sorry trainers." Any help would be much appriciated. I have spent this whole weekend in a desparate effort to avoid having to come on here and bother you guys with my noob questions but have failed so far. Thanks!
Well u can download emulators by going to google.... There to ways to add emulators 1. Make a DVD+R or DVD-R Disk and copy the files there then copy it to your xbox 2. you can FTP They both go in E:\emulators\
OKay... E:/emulators I will try that one thanks! Another problem... I added ALL of my roms, and emulators and EVERYTHING onto a DVD+RW and the XBOX is reading the disc fine... However when I go to copy them from the disc, I get an error message, and the logfile just says it cant copy... no real explanation. Any ideas? And thanks for responding so fast!
Thats the problem... I click copy on the menu... and it doesnt allow me to select where to copy it to. So as a way around it, I tried to copy the whole disc. Same problem... As a third way around it, I tried to get the XBOX to compress the entire disc to a folder... With the rar name : D.rar But although it seems its working... It just sits at 0% and doesnt move.
Ok insert you disk on to the xbox.... launch it and it should take u to the folder in where its located... Hit start select Copy Disc then it is going to ask u were do u want to add the file to....
Okay I see what the problem is. I started the XBOX just like you said, and it auto ran the DVD and of course, pulled up the contents of the DVD. I pushed start, and got the menu, and pressed copy. However it did not ask me where to save it to, it only pulled up a message saying that so and so many files totalling so many bytes were going to be copied. When I click yes, an error message comes up. I checked the logfile and the problem is its trying to create the folder in the root.
Okay... After taking a closer look at the situation, and doing a presentation of the problem to my wife... I figured it out. I dont know why but my XBOX was telling it to copy to the root folder. I changed it (This is for anyone else with the same problem) by pressing the top right button, which brought my selection to the right side of the screen allowing me to change the destination folder. Thanks for all your help!!! When Its done copying my 1000's of Roms over to my box... Ill see if it works "crosses fingers"
Yes yes yes! The emulators are present... But of course I couldnt have killed two birds with one stone. I ported all of my SNES roms over to the games folder on E:/ When I try to get ZSNEXBOX to locate the roms... I search the folder, and ZSNEXBOX doesnt see any of them. I know this isnt the right forum or even website for emulator probs... but maybe you know whats wrong? You had all the answers for the emu prob lol
