Check the number on the hub. If it says something like "GG00010" then it is genuine TY. EDIT: Sorry, it looks like you already checked the number. It looks to me like they're real.
Was the TG001162 what i was looking for? It looks nothing like you said, is that a, if something is there then they are real? or? Just confused now =)
Supermediastore.com is known to have sold real TY's. I'm pretty sure they are real. BTW they Sony Made in Japan DVD+R's at Best buy right now code the same (T02).
Yah I know they do, was wondering if they were to mix like 1 pack of fakes in with 100 packs of real. I Doubt they would do it, but ya know? I also sawa a post saying someone got some fakes from there....I'm sure he was lieing, but just checking before I make a very big purchase.
I used "GG00010" as an example because I have some genuine TY's myself that I ordered from Supermediastore and that is what the code is on mine. If you ordered TY's from Supermediastore, then I'm sure your TY's are genuine.
docTy here...your 8x dvd+R Taiyo Yudens are 100% real and genuinely AUTHENTIC~ no worries~ the TG00xxxx coding is made specifically for that particular rated speed and format... the GG00xxxx coding is for the 8x dvd-R format~ the GD00xxxx coding is for the 4x dvd-R format~ the TG00xxxx coding is for the 8x dvd+R format~ you are fine with those~ good luck and happy burning~
and oOoTyEoOo your ALWAYS safe with supermedia store they NEVER sell fakes along with meritline.com ,rima.com amd newegg.com ALL are top notch retailers ones to avoid are shop4tech and the spammers that come along for there short stay in here lol
so many spammers lately, what is up with that? i hope this isn't a new "trend" that will continue much longer...hehe
Supermediastore gave me 100% real TY's. Shipped right on time too. BTW, since shop4tech is known to give out fakes, why does afterdawn advertise for them (besides the obvious answer of money).
advertising shop4tech is just one of the ways to earn $$ for AD~ they went through the proper channels to PAY AD to display their advertisements, hence, it's there~ while i will NEVER purchase from them again, (shop4tech), i have NO SAY as to how AfterDawn admins and owner dRD choose to manage THEIR website~ AfterDawn is a great place for knowledge and help, doesn't bother me one bit they gotta "do what they gotta do" to pay the bills~
