JVC gr-dvl167 and webcamdv

    Hi all hope u can help with my problem.
    I have the digital camcorder shown in the topic and im trying to use it as a webcam.I got the software WEBCAMDV but after installing it 3 times all i get in the video window is the webcamdv logo? Ive updated everything i need to but still the same

    Im running windowsXP on a top spec PC
    Can anyone help plz

    How are you connecting the camera?
    You should use Firewire. When you got the camera connected and switched on, open your video program and select MICROSOFT DV CAMERA AND VCR as your preferred camera. Don't click WEBCAM-DV as this only shows the picture.
    This works with the JVC-GVL 367. Hope it helps.
