K-Lite Codecs

    Hi M8's

    First of all I am not sure if this is the right place for this query. Also many may say its a stupid question. Anyway, Dummies like me dont understand nothing - lol. My question is what is the difference between K-Lite codec Pack and K-Lite Mega codec Pack.

    The lite package contains all the codecs that a casual user requires.

    Yes, you can look at individual codecs that are included, but the lite is generally for people who only want to watch movies on their computer and the Mega codec includes encoders which you use if you convert movies in different formats, plus a lot of other stuff regular users don't need.
