K750i Upgrade

Hi,

Does anyone know how to upgrade a K750i to use the same software as the W800i.

A mate of mine has just bought a K750i from eBay and it has the W800i software on it. When you look in the settings of the phone (firmware versions etc etc) it says it is a K750i

Any ideas??

You need a cable and their software, each credit costs about £8.
I've used their service for unlocking and debranding phones, but not the conversion.

I would guess you just choose the W800i firmware when you download, as the K750i and W800i have the same hardware.

1 problem, if you ever try and use SE site to upgrade your firmware, it WILL revert it back to the K750i version, as this is what the IMEI number will tell them you have. So the bad thing is, if you want a newer firmware when they are released, you will need to pay each time.

Do you have a link? coz all I ever seen on there is ringtones, wallpapers, videos etc....
