no clcokwise didn't find the code in the internet. it was given by the network provider base on his message. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/408098 he also mentioned about a software on the web that could unlock it. but i think it's not free and you also need a special cable. if you are looking for software try this http://www.totalmultiserver.com/ but you need credits to use it.
You were right about the network provider. But for some networks, you need to be a customer for over a year for them to send you the code, and they will charge for that. It will also take another 21 days until you get the code... But let's say that you use another SIM (witch is over a year old) in your phone, and you ask them to unlock the phone. Could that work? I will give it a try...
