Hi there, Excuse long explanation :)

Hope you can help. I'm trying to connect my karaoke to my surround sound sony bravia dav - dz560. I originally bought an optical lead but it would'nt work and then the guy from the karaoke shop said that the karaoke discs wont work via optical due to the way that they are recorded. he said to cannect the Red / White lead to the back of the surround sound. (No audio red/ white output from surround sound). Both have hdmi, optical, hdmi, coaxial, outputs, so please tell me I have'nt just wasted a whole load of money and still need a seperate amp and speakers for the karaoke.

    Thanks Red

    Hi red77

You could possibly connect your karaoke using a scart plug/adapter that would allow you to connect audio leads.
