I am installing kazaa media desktop and its finished downloading and a pop up came up saying kazaa media desktop is running, please close it before continuing. Its not open any where what do i do?
First, check on all the icons at the bottom of your screen near the click, just place your mouse over each one to read the info about each one, if you find one saying kazaa then right click and close it, if that does not work go to task manager and check applications (if its there then click end task) finally in taskmanager click processes and look of kazaa.exe, if its there then close it, if not then just it really isn't running, on a side not, go to http://www.k-lite.tk and get kazaa-lite, it is some much better than kazaa in many ways, has all the feature and more with no add/spyware and gives you a permenent rating of 1000 so downloads are easier, while your at that site get the seccurity patches so it looks like you share no files in kazaa-lite, hope this helps, and I really do suggest that(even if you get it working) you uninstall kazaa and switch to kazaa-lite._X_X_X_X_X_[small]This is an amazingly imformative site with many places to find information and help.
