I don't use TMPGEnc often, I perfer Nero Vision Express and WinAVI but sometimes I need to use this software. Often when adding video files in TMPGEnc ready to convert, I get this error (screenshot below). I usually just ignore it but I would like to know what it is. Sometimes, this error comes up half way through converting a file and when I click the DON'T SEND button, it gives me an invalid format error. Why is this? Can anyone help?
Looks like you are using Gabest's avi splitter and it is crashing. You might want to try reverting to the MS one that comes with windows or Haali's one.
