I load the .cue file eazy and nothing is wrong until i press burn disc. I keep getting 'start dao recording' command failed on device 1:1:0 disc type is not supported. What the hell does this mean? The disc im using or what? I got the audio track and it came with a .CUE and the audio track itself in MP3 format. Any help would be great thanks guys.

    PS
I just tryed to burn it with alco. 120 and i got an error message also "Unsupported file format C:\ File name line 2" this is weird. Never copied CDS using .cue files so im a noob to this......HELP!!!!

More likely CDRWin doesnt support your CD Unit (It doesn't support mine, too).

Alcohol 120%: it was born only to create backups of protected discs, i.e. it can only butn images, i.e. files named like: [bold] .ISO, .BUN/.CUE, .NRG, .CCD/.IMG [/bold] and so on (that is, an image of a CD-R or a DVD-Rom [DVD-Video isn't a supported type]). It cannot burn files.

Suggestion: use Nero. It supports many drive types and is contunuously updated (now we should be about at v7.0). Mor, shouldn't support yours, you could use the 'Virtual Image Recorder' as burner, burn a .NRG file and burn that .NRG with Alcohol 120%.

Ah, for this specific problem, post here the .CUE (it's an ASCII file; just copy-and-paste). Maybe the MP3 path was included. If it was, transform:

    E [or whatever] :\DIRECTORY\FILE.MP3 into

    FILE.MP3

and put the CUE in the same directory of the MP3 file.
