You can only cut extras with Shrink by using the re-author feature. This will cause the menu to become inactive and play like a video clip. When I want keep the menu working but still edit the disc, I turn to Clonedvd working with Anydvd. This combo lets you edit the disc like Shrink but keeps the menu working. 30 day trial on both, then about $40. each. I think its well worth it.
Anydvd is the decrypter and can also be used behind Nero Recode, and I run it with Shrink for the few movies Shrink has a problem with decrypting.

    Hi,

another method would be to use IfoEdit to strip unwanted extras and still keep the menu working.
You will nevertheless need lots of little software tools in order to do this, and it's really not very easy. I think all these tools are free. For the re-encoding you might want to use some better encoding tools like CCE or TMPEnc, but for those you'll find working trial versions, too.
    Here's a guide
